Window installation across the Southern Suburbs
Clearfox Windows installs windows across Adelaide’s Southern Suburbs, from Marion, Mitcham and Brighton down to Seaford and Aldinga Beach. Coastal-suited aluminium, double-glazing retrofits and new build packages are common here. As a typical guide for Adelaide homes, windows cost $700–$5,500 per opening single-glazed or $1,500–$8,500 per opening double-glazed, fitted. Request a quote for a free on-site measure.
Marion through to Aldinga Beach — the Southern Suburbs are a mix of mid-century weatherboards, modern coastal homes, and the rapidly-growing southern coastal corridor. Coastal aluminium and full retrofit double glazing are common.

Frequently asked questions
What windows suit coastal homes in the south?
Salt air is hard on frames and hardware. Powder-coated aluminium and uPVC frames with hardware suited to coastal exposure are common choices, and many manufacturers set care conditions (such as regular rinsing) for coastal homes. Ask for those conditions with your quote.
Can I upgrade a newer home’s windows to double glazing?
Usually, yes. In most newer homes the existing aluminium windows are replaced with double-glazed units, often in the same openings so the brickwork and render need little making good. We check the frames and openings at the on-site measure.
Do I need approval to replace windows in Mitcham’s older streets?
Like-for-like window replacements often don’t need approval, but heritage places and Historic Area or Character Area Overlays in the Planning and Design Code can apply to street-facing windows. Check your property on the SA Property and Planning Atlas (PlanSA) or ask your council before you order.
