About Clearfox Windows
Clearfox Windows is an Adelaide-based window supply and installation specialist serving Adelaide metro and the Adelaide Hills. We focus on a clean, narrow service range — replacement windows, new build windows, double glazing, and the full set of frame materials and styles homeowners actually search for — and we aim to deliver it consistently, with published price ranges and a careful on-site process.
What we do, in plain terms
We measure, quote, supply, and install windows. That’s the whole business. Eight installation services cover the buyer journey from “I need a few windows replaced” to “I’m building a new home and need the entire window package specified”. Six glazing specialties — double glazing, aluminium, uPVC, timber, security, energy-efficient — cover the technical decisions that shape comfort, energy bills, and long-term home value.
We don’t do roofing, cladding, kitchens, or general renovation. We do windows. Every site visit is led by an experienced fitter; every quote is written, itemised, and includes a clear timeline.
Why “Clearfox”

Our process, step by step
- Enquiry. Send the quote form or call. Tell us the suburb, the rooms and roughly how many windows; photos help.
- On-site measure. An experienced fitter measures every opening, checks the frames and walls, and talks through frame, glazing and style options. If the property is heritage-listed, in an overlay or in a bushfire-prone area, we flag it so you can check the requirements with your council or certifier.
- Written quote. You get an itemised quote covering supply, installation, making good, and the warranty terms that apply.
- Order and supply. Once you accept, we order the windows. Standard product typically takes 4–8 weeks; premium uPVC and bushfire-rated systems take longer.
- Installation. Most jobs take 1–7 days depending on the number of openings. We remove the old frames, fit the new windows, make good inside and out, and clean up.
Honest scope
We do windows: supply, installation, replacement and sash restoration. We don’t do roofing, cladding, kitchens, general renovation, window cleaning, window film or automotive glass. Where a job needs approval or certification, such as a heritage overlay, a bushfire (BAL) assessment or an energy rating for a new build, your council, certifier or energy assessor makes that call. Adelaide-specialist, not Adelaide-adjacent
Adelaide’s housing stock is unusual. Heritage villas in Burnside and Norwood need timber sash sympathy. Coastal homes in Glenelg and Brighton need frames and hardware that suit salt air. Mid-century weatherboards across the inner west need careful frame swaps to preserve the character. Much of the Adelaide Hills is bushfire-prone, where a property’s BAL assessment sets what the windows must meet. The on-site measure is where the right product gets specified — and that only works if the people doing the measure actually know the local context.
How we work
- Clear warranty terms — your written quote sets out the workmanship terms and the manufacturer warranties that apply to the frames and glazing supplied, on top of your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
- Standards-aware specification — glass and windows in Australian homes are covered by standards such as AS 1288 (glass in buildings) and AS 2047 (windows and external glazed doors), plus AS 3959 in bushfire-prone areas. We specify with those in mind; your builder or certifier can confirm the requirements for your project.
- Pricing transparency — every service page lists a typical range. No “from $X” anchor games.
